Ugly Produce is all about redefining the superficial beauty standards of "ugly" fruits and vegetables while fighting food waste. More affordable, fresh, sustainably sourced produce is available. And, by raising awareness, Ugly Produce wants to help prevent unnecessary food waste caused by cosmetic standards (lightly damaged, discoloured, or deformed) that consumers continue to uphold when selecting produce at local food markets and grocery stores.
